BLUETTI 30A AC Charging Cable (Input) For AC300 / EP500 Pro / AC500

BLUETTI B80 Battery Connection Cable: The AC adapter that ships with the AC300, EP500 Pro, and AC500 tops out at 500 W. That’s fine for overnight recharging, but on a 3,072–5,120 Wh power station, it means the better part of a working day to fill an empty battery.

This cable bypasses the standard adapter entirely. Plug it into a 30 A or 50 A wall outlet, and the power station accepts up to 3,000 W (on the 30 A variants) or 5,000 W (on the 50 A AC500 variant) directly. Same physical unit, roughly 6× the input rate.

Practical charge times at full input:

  • AC300 (3,072 Wh) — approximately 1.5–2 hours to full at 3,000 W
  • EP500 Pro (5,120 Wh) — approximately 2.5–3 hours to full at 3,000 W
  • AC500 with battery pack, using the 50 A cable at 5,000 W — proportionally faster than either of the above

Choose the right variant for your outlet

Three physical plugs, three different jobs. Match the variant to the outlet you actually have — none of them are interchangeable.

50A NEMA 14-50 to Aviation 4-prong, 50 A / 240 V Larger RV pedestals, EV charging stations, electric range/dryer outlets 5,000 W AC500 only

Important on the L14-30: this is a twist-lock, 4-wire industrial plug, not the standard 3-prong RV outlet many buyers picture when they hear “30 amp cable.” If your outlet doesn’t twist to lock and doesn’t have four pins, you need the TT-30 variant instead. Confirm your outlet shape before ordering this is the most common wrong-variant order for this SKU.

Why the 50A cable is AC500-only

The AC300 and EP500 Pro have an internal input limit of 3,000 W regardless of the cable feeding them. Plugging a 50 A cable into either won’t damage anything, but it won’t charge faster the unit will still cap at 3,000 W.

The AC500 is different: it’s a headless inverter unit with no fixed battery, so its input handling is designed around larger battery packs (B300, B300S) and can accept up to 5,000 W when paired with the right cable. That’s the specific scenario the 50 A variant exists for.

If you own an AC500, the 50 A cable is the upgrade that unlocks the platform’s real charge speed. If you own an AC300 or EP500 Pro, save your money — one of the 30 A cables is the right choice.

Setup

  1. Turn off the power station.
  2. Plug the Aviation connector into the AC input port on the back of the power station. It seats and locks with a slight quarter-turn.
  3. Plug the wall end into the matching outlet. Twist to lock (L14-30) or push straight in (TT-30 / 14-50).
  4. Turn the power station back on.
  5. In the settings menu, set the AC Charge Rate to Turbo or Fast — the default rate is often set low for the bundled 500 W adapter and needs to be raised to use the full input capacity of this cable.

That last step is easy to miss. If you’ve plugged in this cable and the power station is still charging at 500 W, check the AC Charge Rate setting.

When you’d buy this cable

  • You bought an AC300, EP500 Pro, or AC500 and want to cut charge time from most of a day down to a couple of hours
  • You’re running the unit for home backup and need to top up quickly during brief grid restorations
  • You use the power station on an RV or boat with shore power hookups (TT-30 or NEMA 14-50)
  • You’ve had an electrician install a 30 A or 50 A dedicated circuit for high-speed charging
  • You lost or damaged the original fast-charge cable and need a replacement

Compatibility limits read before ordering

  • Not compatible with Apex 300. BLUETTI’s newer Apex 300 uses different charging connectors a separate cable set applies.
  • Not compatible with AC240, AC200-series, AC180, or smaller units. Those units have their own dedicated cables using different connectors.
  • Not for third-party power stations. The Aviation connector is proprietary to BLUETTI.
  • 50 A variant is AC500-only. The AC300 and EP500 Pro will not charge faster than 3,000 W regardless of cable.
